PW-2 Power Driver

The PW-2 was launched 1996 but was never a big seller. Maybe it was a mistake to label the tone controls FAT and MUSCLE instead of BASS and MIDDLE. The PW-2 has a mid range boost with a heavy low end sound designed to create the sound of a 4x12 speaker cabinet. Boss officially claims that production only lasted 9 months but investigations shows that the production lasted at least 11 months (July '96 - May '97) and that around 19000 PW-2s were made. Since sales were really slow, you could still find brand new PW-2s for sale almost 10 years after end of production.
